We "Paws to Read" at the Amherst Library

This month marked a new start for our Read-to-the-Dog program here at the Amherst Town Library. Although we're sad that our beautiful Belle is no longer able to visit, we're so pleased to make friends with Anna, Leo, and their owner, Carol.
Anna is a very mellow little Pekingese/Bichon cross. She just loves to curl up in one of our beanbags and listen to beginning readers share their favorite books with her.
Leo is Anna's dad--a full Pekingese. Sometimes he gets so excited listening to readers that he just has to get up and look at the pictures!
Anna, Leo, and Carol will be visiting each month, on the first Tuesday (in the afternoon) and the following Saturday (in the morning). For more information, and to register your child to read, please talk to Miss Sarah or Miss Sue at 673-2288.
